ACTION AND DESCRIPTION

Ophthalmic pomade for the improvement of the tear film and the protection of the eye surface. It can be applied up to 6 months after opening. It can be applied in children and in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Healthcare Product Class: IIa O.N. 0344

COMPOSITION

Sterile ophthalmic acid with vitamin A containing 250 U.I. of retinol palmitate/g (vitamin A), paraffin, liquid paraffin, lanolin and white vaseline.

CONSERVATION AND DACITY

Store at room temperature (15 to 25oC).

With proper care, VitA-POS® can be used up to 6 months after the first opening.

Do not use after expiration date.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

It should not apply in cases of hypersensitivity to any of its components. It should not be applied with contact lenses.

EMPLEMENTATION MODEL

Use VitA-POS only if the tube precinct is intact before first use. During the application, avoid contact of the tube cannula with the eye or skin.

Unravel the protective cap. Incline the head backwards, pull slightly from the lower eyelid and extend a small amount of pomade into the conjunctive sac. Close your eye slowly and then blink normally. Close the tube after use.

Apply preferably before bed. Additional use may be made of lubricating collisions.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

If VitA-POS is applied during the day, your vision may be altered for a few seconds due to the oleous consistency of the ointment. In that case do not drive, do not use machinery or work without a stable base. VitA-POS should not be applied simultaneously with other ophthalmic drugs. If necessary, VitA-POS should be applied 30 minutes after the application of the other ophthalmic medication.
