ANGELINI FARMACÉUTICA has launched a new product for palpebral hygiene.

ESTILA has been specifically designed for the care of the pericular zone: its tissue and components ensure a comprehensive care of the eyelid.

Inflammatory and infectious pathologies such as blepharitis and conjunctivitis, as well as postoperative care of patients involved in lower eyelid surgery and cleaning and hygiene of secretions in the obstruction of the nasolagrimal duct in infants, require proper hygiene of the periocular area. Thus the affected eyelid also needs to hydrate, reduce inflammation and heal, thus achieving a greater sense of well-being.

The cleansing lotion that permeates ESTILA sterile wipes is composed of tensioactive agents with cleaning capacity, flower extract of the Sambucus Nigra with anti-inflammatory properties, flower extract of Aloe Vera with moisturizing, antiseptic and scarring properties, and Lipacide TM with antimicrobial activity.

The tissue of STILA sterile wipes has been specifically designed for the hygiene of the periocular zone showing an adequate drag of the adherent substances, with an optimal degree of wetness and a large enough size to allow the total external cleaning of the eye.

ESTILA sterile wipes has proven to significantly reduce the bacterial rate present in the usual flora of the periocular area in just 3 days. This is responsible for post-surgical endophthalmitis and responsible for inflammatory and infectious processes such as previous blepharitis staphoccal and bacterial conjunctivitis.

EMPLEMENTATION MODEL

Wash your hands with soap and clear abundantly. Open the envelope and extract the impregnated towel. With the closed eye, apply the towel on the eyelid by taking a slight massage by trying to detach and drag the adhered residues. Repeat the same process for the other eye using a new towel.

Hygiene of the palpebral edge: Roll the towel in tube form and pass it gently sobr eel edge of the eyelid.
