ACTION AND DESCRIPTION
Matricria chamomilla L. Composed. Parts used: Floral Chapters.
Contains, essential oil, flavonoids, sesquiterpenic lactonas, glucids, cumarins, phenolic acids, mineral salts and tannins.
The sweet or common manzanilla increases the production of gastrointestinal juices and produces a smooth muscle relaxation favoring digestion and gastrointestinal transit. It is also thought that it may present certain anti-inflammatory effects due to its lactones. It also has a slight sedative effect.
It is used in digestive disorders such as dyspepsia and its associated symptoms, as well as in states of anxiety.
It is reassuring so it is useful in sleep disorders, lowers muscle tension.
Topic travel has anti-inflammatory and anti-septic properties.
EMPLEMENTATION MODEL
Infusions are made by putting a spoonful of product in a cup, to which boiling water is added. It lets rest for 3-5 minutes, covering the cup to avoid loss of volatile compounds. The water is then filtered to remove the flowers. Can be sweetened with sugar, artificial sweeteners or honey.
You can take 3-4 cups daily, preferably after meals.
