1. what is STODAL syrup and what is it used for?

STODAL syrup is a homeopathic medicine traditionally used in the symptomatic treatment of cough.

2. Before taking STODAL syrup

Contraindications
This medicine should not be administered to patients with hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any other component of the preparation.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.
Driving and use of machines
At the recommended dose, STODAL SYRUP is unlikely to have any effect on the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery.
Important information about some of the ingredients
This medicine contains sucrose.
If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, consult your doctor before taking this medicine. Patients with diabetes mellitus should be aware that this medicine contains 3.75 g of sucrose per 5 ml of STODAL syrup.
This medicine contains 1.74% ethanol (alcohol), which corresponds to an amount of 0.069 g per 5 ml of STODAL syrup, which may be harmful for people suffering from alcoholism. The alcohol content should be taken into account in the case of pregnant or breastfeeding women, children and high-risk groups, such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

3. how to take STODAL syrup

Adults: 1 dose of 15 ml 3 to 5 times a day.
Children: 1 dose of 5 ml 3 to 5 times a day.
Measure the milliliters needed with the aid of the measuring cup.
The intakes should be distributed throughout the day and at bedtime to calm night coughs.
Oral use.
Follow these instructions unless your doctor has given you different instructions. Remember to take your medicine.
If you think that the action of Stodal syrup is too strong or too weak, tell your doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms worsen or persist after three days, consult your doctor. Treatment should not last more than one week.
If you have used STODAL syrup more than you should, consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
If you forget to take STODAL syrup, do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

5. Storage of STODAL syrup

No special storage conditions are required.
This medicine should not be used after the expiration date stated on the container.
