ACTION AND DESCRIPTION

It is indicated in the prevention and treatment of ulcers by stage I and II pressure.

Hyperoxigenated fatty acids that integrate their formulation, obtained by a particular process of hyperoxigenation: favor the renewal of the epidermal cells by improving the resistance of the skin and facilitating the healing; restore the hydrolipid film by avoiding the dehydration of the skin; create an antimicrobial barrier that protects the ulcerated area of external agents and improves the microcirculation of blood.

It also contains Equisetum arvense, familiarly known as Cola de Caballo, which improves skin elasticity and tonicity, while the Hypericum perforatum (or Hierba de San Juan) is preventive and normalizing erythemas and has a lenitive and dermoprotective activity.

EMPLEMENTATION MODEL

Prevention and Treatment of Stadium Pressure Ulcers I: After having performed the usual cleaning cures, apply Mepentol 2 or 3 times a day, on the risk zones or affected by the ulcer, extending the product with the fingertips. The use of gloves is recommended for this operation.

Treatment of Stage II Pressure Ulcers: After having performed the usual cleaning cures, apply Mepentol directly over the ulcer, or spray on a sterile gauze, which is then applied on the ulcer. Cover the ulcer with the help of an appropriate bandage. Repeat the application 2 or 3 times a day until full healing. The use of gloves is recommended for this operation.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

Mepentol health or caregiver should adopt the minimum standards and precautions of a health structure (e.g. gloves).

It is also recalled that, the product:

1. It is external use

2. It must remain out of reach and view of children

3. Do not use if the container is damaged or manipulated

4. Conserve at room temperature

5. Should not be used after 12 months of opening

6. It should not be used after the expiration date.
