ACTION AND DESCRIPTION

Topic emulsion of external use based on hyperoxygenated fatty acids.

Prevention of lower extremity ulcers (venous, arterial and diabetic foot).

Prevention and treatment of stage I and II pressure ulcers (rape of skin that does not pale when pressing, in full skin).

Its use reduces the frequency of recurrences, characteristics of the ulcers of the lower extremity.

In addition, its formulation in moisturizing emulsion allows the use of compression media, immediately after application.

Hyperoxigenated fatty acids improve blood microcirculation by avoiding tissue ischemia, boost the renewal of epidermal cells by improving skin resistance and restoring hydrolipid film by avoiding skin dehydration. The Mimosa tenuiflora favors epithelial growth and the Aloe barbadensis provides a moisturizing and lenitive effect.

Hyperoxigenated fatty acids, Mimosa tenuiflora, Aloe barbadensis and excipients.

EMPLEMENTATION MODEL

Prevention of pressure ulcers and ulcers of the lower extremity and treatment of stage I pressure ulcers: After having performed the usual cleaning cures, apply 2 or 3 times a day, on the risk zones or affected by the ulcer, extending the product with the fingertips.

Accompanying the use of postureal changes and other general prevention and care practices, as well as following the recommended hygienicpostural measures, can prevent the formation of ulcers in the skin.

Treatment of stage II pressure ulcers and lower extremity ulcers in the initial stages: After having performed the usual cleaning cures, apply directly to the ulcer, or to a sterile gauze, which is then applied on the ulcer. Cover the ulcer with the help of an appropriate bandage. Repeat the application 2 or 3 times a day until full healing.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

In case of excessive skin redness it is advised to use Mepentol solution.

The medical or caregiver personnel applying MEPENTOL LECHE must adopt the minimum standards and precautions of a health structure (e.g. the use of gloves).

It is also recalled that, the product:

1. It's external use.

2. It should be kept out of the reach and sight of children.

3. Do not use if the container is damaged or manipulated.

4. Keep below 30oC.

5. It should not be used after the expiration date.
