ACTION AND DESCRIPTION
Scarring of acute and chronic rectal wounds and dermatological lesions of the rectum. They constitute adjuvant treatment to other hemorrhoid treatments or other rectal conditions such as painful annal fissures, skin cracks (annal fissures) and mucous membranes of the rectal area ( rectal signs). It mitigates the discomfort caused by annal fissures, decreases bleeding during defecation and favors healing.
CE marking. ON: 1023. Class IIA, not sterile.
COMPOSITION
White suppository containing a reticular co-polymer, 2-hydroxyethyl metacrilate.
EMPLEMENTATION MODEL
The suppositories should be administered by rectal via rounded end, if possible after defecating and cleaning the area.
Separate a binster suppository by cutting through the perforated edge, scraping it gently from the sides to extract the suppository.
Introducing the suppository deeply into the rectum by the rounded end, it is advisable to adopt a slightly inclined position forward.
Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, you should be given once a day preferably before going to bed.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
No adverse effects related to their use have been observed. In susceptible people, it is normal to experience minor irritation in the skin of the rectal area as a slight spike or burning sensation. The suppository can cause a slight laxative effect. If you experience adverse effects discontinue treatment and consult your doctor. Stay out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated in the container. The expiration date is the last day of the month indicated in the container. Because of its macromolecular structure, UniGel Procto does not penetrate the body, so suppositories can be used in all people, including pregnant and breastfeeding women. However, you should always consult your doctor beforehand. If you experience rectal problems, anal hygiene and regular defecation are particularly important. For this reason, you should make sure that you eat enough fluids, avoid spicy foods and add to your diet an appropriate amount of fiber. If the problem does not go away in 7 days, or worsens, consult your doctor.
