ACTION AND DESCRIPTION

Mucoadhesive compound designed for the treatment of symptoms and complications related to oral dryness (xerostomia).

It can be used by patients with a reduced salival flow, but not completely absent, which usually occurs as a side effect of pharmacological treatment, radiation therapy, chemotherapy or certain diseases.

It acts by stimulating salival production and controlling the alteration of pH, which leads to the promotion of oral mucosa healing.

It is designed to provide a protracted activity. The time of dissolution of the tablet is approximately two hours.

It does not contain cariogenic substances.

COMPOSITION

Sorbitol (D-Glucitol), amylopectin, L-carnosine, carboxylate (carbomer), hydroxypropilcellulose, Hibiscus Sabdarrifa L. Flos, sodium carbonate, magnesium stearate, orange and sucralose aroma.

EMPLEMENTATION MODEL

Its administration is recommended three times a day after the main meals, preferably at regular intervals.

Place a tablet against the top palate and hold for 10-15 seconds to allow the proper adherence to the mouth mucosa.

Avoid eating drinks for at least 10 minutes to ensure the fixing of the tablet.

Keep the tablet in place without chewing it until it has dissolved completely.

If the tablet takes off the surface of the mucous, keep it in the mouth and let it dissolve without chewing it.

The time of dissolution of the tablet varies depending on the salivation flow; in normal conditions of salivation, the time of dissolution is approximately two hours.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

It is contraindicated for any patient with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.

Due to the presence of flavonoids of the Hibiscus Sabdarriffa L. medical advice is advised if used during pregnancy.

It does not contain substances that cause pharmacological interaction.

Avoid eating drinks for at least 10 minutes to ensure the fixing of the tablet.

Do not sleep with the tablet in the mouth.

Do not use the product if the wrap is damaged or is expired.

If you did not notice it improved after 14 days of treatment, see your doctor.

Talk to your doctor before using it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

This product does not affect the ability to drive or manipulate machinery.

It may not be effective in case of complete inactivity of the salivary glands.
