| COMPOSITION |
| chlorhexidine diluconate, professional reference for plaque control and maintenance of gum health. It is a broad-spectrum antiseptic that eliminates harmful microorganisms from the bacterial plaque with superior sustantivity that allows it to generate a long-lasting action. Chlorhexidine attacks the structure of the existing plate and inhibits the adherence of the new plate by destroying the microorganisms that are responsible for its formation. Cetilpiridinium chloride (CPC), an agent that removes the plate and neutralizes toxins for maximum antibacterial protection. The reinforcement of chlorhexidine with CPC is also designed to help to better neutralize all the toxins released by bacteria in the mouth. In fact, when bacteria die and disgree, they release toxins that favor inflammation called lipopolisaccharide (LPS), and its elimination is an essential component of a complete antibacterial periodontal therapy. |
