ACTION AND DESCRIPTION

Electrotherapy is a non-medical technique used especially by physiotherapists. This technology acts in the painful area using low voltage electric currents. The patch acts in the nerve fibers of the painful area blocking the transmission of pain to the spine and brain. At the same time, it stimulates the production of endorphins, molecules that destroy pain naturally.

- Back pain (lumbing, dorsalgia)

- Chronic joint pains (arthrosis, arthritis, rheumatism) or acute (rods, ankles, hips...)

- Neuralgia (ciatic)

- Muscle or traumatic tendons (squinces, tendinitis) after consulting a health care professional.

CE marking. ON: 0483. Class IIa, not sterile.

CONSERVATION AND DACITY

Do not expose to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures (less than -10°C or more than 50°C).

Keep the patch with your protective film in a clean and dry place.

Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.

EMPLEMENTATION MODEL

1. Carefully remove one of the protective films and keep it to put it back on the patch to protect the adhesive gel after use.

2. Paste the patch in the body area to treat. A prior skin treatment with fat or ointment creams is not recommended (see Precautions for use).

3. Press the "+" button for about 3 seconds until a long bip is heard. The device is on. It does not give up current yet (Intensity 0).

4. Press the "+" button again once to start stimulation. Press progressively and repetitively to increase intensity (adjustable from 0 to 15). Increase the intensity until an effect that is neither painful nor unpleasant is perceived. Press the "-" button to decrease the intensity if necessary.

5. The electrotherapy session lasts 20 minutes. The device will automatically turn off.

6. If you want to stop the session before the 20 minutes, the device must be switched off previously: press the "-" button for about 3 seconds until a long bip is heard. You can remove the device.

7. Remove the patch from the area to treat and place the protective film we have saved on the adhesive gel.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

From 16 years on, the device can be used autonomously. Children from 8 years of age and mentally dependent persons may use this product only under the supervision of a responsible adult. In these two cases, cleaning and maintenance should not be done without supervision. Keep out of reach and view of children: they should not play with the product.

Do not use this device near a heat source, or near (less than a metre) short wave devices omicra-ondas (mobile phone), as it could cause nasty current peaks.

If the device does not work properly, if you feel bad or if there are pains during use, turn off the device immediately.

The Electrotherapy patch should be shut down at the time of placing it and withdrawn.

Do not modify in any case the form of the Electrotherapy patch (to cut it) because it would cause a rise in the current density and could be dangerous.

Do not use the patch while sleeping, driving or during any activity in which involuntary muscle contraction can be dangerous.

Do not put the patch on the wet skin: it could cause an intense, not adapted current and could be dangerous.

Wait at least 1 h after eating before using the patch in the stomach and belly area.

Make sure that no metallic object can enter into contact can the patch during stimulation. If you wear jewelry piercings in the area of use of the patch (blind piercing), remove them before the use of the patch as they might cause local burns.

Do not use creams or ointments on the skin before treatment.

Do not use any adhesive, band or dressing except the adhesive gel URGO Electrotherapy patch to paste the patch on your skin. It could cause skin lesions.

Rarely, you may experience weariness (feeling of weakness) at the beginning of its use. It is recommended to use the device sitting or lying down. If you have a feeling of weakness, turn off the device immediately and lift your legs for 5 -10 minutes whatever the patch's application area during the session.
